PECHINCHA
"Pechincha" was a project developed for a challenge proposed by the company Tok&Stok with the brief to create various patterns. The chosen theme was "filetagem," described as the "national language of trucks."

4TH SEMESTER PROJECT
The theme of "filetagem," which can be found throughout Brazilian territory, revolves around an art form that often goes unnoticed by less observant eyes. Considered the identity of wooden truck bodies, or as many would say, "what gives life to trucks," this technique involves traditional freehand painting with a long-bristle brush, without any specific rules. Its creation is spontaneous and lacks any sketches or guidelines; it emerges directly from the will and creativity of its creator.
For this project, due to the need for a solid foundation, we constructed various semantic and syntactic panels. Fearing that we might not address the theme correctly, we sought out a student from USP (University of São Paulo) who provided their research to answer our questions. Additionally, we also visited fairs to immerse ourselves in the world of trucks and their end products, in this case, fruits.
With all this material in hand, we began experimenting with fruit stamps and hand-painted the initial patterns. All these moments, from in-depth research to hands-on execution, added a lot to me, especially emphasizing the importance of going out, discovering, and addressing the subject correctly, without fear of asking questions or trying new things.
